At The Center

rooted in care, growing in power.

At The Center is building a world where criminalized survivors and sex workers are not only safe but sacred - where we remember justice as a practice of care and healing as a birthright.

Just like the land, we hold stories of loss and renewal. We hold memory, transformation & possibility. And roots that run deep in resilience.

Through ecosomatic practice & intentional community building, we are planting seeds of liberation in the cracks of a crumbling world, turning toward ourselves & one another with the tenderness we were once denied.

Those of us who have lived outside the lines - who have survived what was never meant to be survived - carry the wisdom to reimagine a new world. We are not just dreaming of a future beyond violence; we are building it with our own hands & nurturing it with our own hearts.

Come as you are.

There is space for you here.

“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.”

- Arundhati Roy

At The Center builds power with criminalized survivors of gender based violence & sex workers to reimagine models of safety, justice & healing beyond dominant systems. Through embodied practices & intentional connection with our Selves, our communities & the land, we support survivors & sex workers in developing the skills, resources & relationships necessary to cultivate ecosystems of transformative leadership & collective healing.

Your donation helps us provide ecosomatic healing spaces, leadership development & meaningful employment pathways for our community - especially in today’s political & funding climate, we truly can’t do this work without you. Together, we are shifting the narrative around justice and healing - building a world where all people are seen, heard, and empowered to lead their own journeys.

At The Center was born from the strength, wisdom & leadership of those who have firsthand experience of the intersections of interpersonal & carceral violence. With your support, we can continue creating spaces for  criminalized survivors & sex workers to heal, lead & build new ways of justice and care that center our shared humanity.

We invite you to join us in this work, to support a vision of justice rooted in connection, care & mutual respect.
